Sober Systems: The Corporation

Corporate Profile

Sober Systems Inc. creates innovative technology solutions to stem the epidemic of Americans’ addiction to opioids and other drugs. The company offers a complete ecosystem of behavioral health technologies. View them at: sobernetwork.com/brands. Many of the products provide scientific, award-winning, and first-of-kind features, motivating adoption to drive wide-scale market acceptance.

Its leading product, Sobercoin™, is based on defensible intellectual property and technological advantages. It is the first Currency of Recovery™ to incentivize behavioral change based on blockchain technology.

Dr. Harold Jonas, a nationally recognized addiction expert with over 25+ years of experience, founded the company in 2015, with a clear understanding of market requirements for behavioral economics. This technology is focused on creating lasting change in people and systems.

Market Problem Solved with Sobercoin

Sobercoin helps solve the problem of the deterioration of America due to increased Substance Use Disorders (SUD). The statistics are staggering: 135,000 deaths on average in the U.S. annually due to SUD, 63,000 deaths annually from opioids alone, and an average of 175 deaths per day this year. Currently, there is no viable alternative to the solution Sober Systems offers with Sobercoin. It is the first system to provide scientifically backed features to attract widespread integration.

Sober System’ Target Market

Sober Systems has 3 target markets: 1) Consumers 2) Treatment Centers 3) Third-Party Payers

Sober Systems’ Business Model

Initially, Sober Systems’ strategic plan will encompass B2B and direct-to-consumer campaigns.

The U.S. health service agency, SAMHSA, has a registry of more than 23K licensed facilities that treat 2+ million people per year with SUD. This offers a gateway to the fastest revenue generation.

An astonishing 110 million people worldwide suffer from alcoholism and drug addiction and this number is increasing exponentially each year. Never before in American history has the drug crisis been so acute. The need to adopt modern technology is vital. Sobercoin is our most feasible universal strategy.

Scholarly research has demonstrated that incentive-based motivation impacts change. When applied to the recovery population, higher rates of sobriety and reduced relapse rates are more likely for participants. Sobercoin is innovative as a digital currency reward, thereby solving the greatest obstacle currently impeding peoples’ opportunity for recovery: access to services.
